ALL THE THINGS

I've decided to call this one ALL THE THINGS cause heaven knows I can't choose just one topic!

First off, our landscaping is 80% done and I am stoked! The neighbors still need to put up that back section of fence (loooong story short we were planning on doing wood like the rest of our fence but the neighbors asked if they could put trex in on that section. We agreed and it's taking way too long but it should be up before baby comes). Once that's up, our fence will be complete and we can put chickens in the coop. Our concrete person flaked and wasn't able to pour the patio before grass went in, so now we have to wait for it to establish so we can get tools back there. We still need to put some mulch along the foundation in the back and get the fire pit set up. BUT! We have grass and sprinklers! And a finished garden in the front! That alone was such a big process because of how rocky the ground was. Jake was able to knock most of it out himself in record time.

Here are some progression shots of the front.

It greened up so fast and looks so good! We need to add mulch to the corner of the lawn and then we're totally done with the front. We also plan on wrapping and painting that beam on the porch...add that to the list of the millions of projects. ;)

Here's the back!

We're going to spend so much time out there this summer. I can't wait to play on that grass!

This one is quite the wild little thing. Nobody call CPS on me, the kid just LOVES running and playing and is so clumsy. Poor guy's legs are always bruised!

We had a super busy weekend and ended it at the tulip festival with some of Jake's siblings. We got thanksgiving point passes this year and I can't wait to go back!

Other shenanigans included lots of play time (still love this age), learning how to get off the couch, breakfast with dad, date night (I should really take more pictures on our dates but really they'd all just be of food), a wacko dog, water colors for the first time, and a baby shower lunch that baby Bridger thought was far too boring. So much craziness!

Last, but not least....a lovely bump shot in a public bathroom while the toddler goes nuts. So much belly at almost 35 weeks! I'm dealing with some sort of kidney problem. Infection? Stones? They're not really sure but it's kind of miserable! I can't wait to meet this little baby and be done with pregnancy for a while.

Dad is back to work at the office. He put in his 2 weeks at his company a couple weeks ago. Although working from home was really nice, the work they had for him was not satisfying or challenging enough and so he took a job at Pluralsight. I'm back alone with Ryan all day and it's definitely an adjustment for all of us, but it will get easier. Here's to the week ahead!
