A toddler room and conference

Happy conference weekend! We've been soaking up the messages in between working on projects- and today we finally got Ryan moved over to his new room! We have two bedrooms besides the master, so one has a dresser that holds both kids' clothes, a changing station, and a crib for the new babe. The other room has Ryan's crib, a rocker (until the new baby actually moves into his nursery and we need a rocker in there), and toys. A little before and after...

Little dude approves. How cute is that dino crib sheet!? And here's my curtain secret....those are drop cloths from Lowes hung with curtain clips! Way cheaper than regular curtains and super long. I still need to add a few things to the walls and a place for books, but I love the room so far.

Here's what conference looked like....
1. A gnarly head bonk before breakfast. Poor baby! He's feeling much better now.

Chocolate chip pancakes helped. :) that thing is leaving a nasty bruise!

Jake couldn't keep his eyes open during the afternoon session.

Ryan (who really is naked 80% of the time we're at home...) discovered that the dog makes a pretty good seat.

I loved Elder Holland's talk, especially the part about happy moments and drawing strength from others around us in times of need. Jake and I always say how when one of us feels down, the other one seems to feel awesome and we can feed off of each other to feel better again. Of course it's the same concept with our Savior, He is there with "perfect pitch" and we can always draw energy from Him.

Here's to another busy week!
