Hannah's wedding

Craziest. Day. Ever! We woke up early and got the truck loaded up, then snuck Ryan from his bed to his car seat with some milk hoping he'd sleep on the 2hr drive to the Logan temple. Nooope! Ha it didn't work, but he was happy the whole way there so it turned out ok.
I was Hannah's escort for the sealing, so Jake hung with the babies on the temple grounds until he came inside and my mom took over. It was such a peaceful perfect morning!! The sealing was beautiful and I loved being with Hannah. After the sealing we did pictures, and I was able to snap these gems.

The luncheon was at 1:30. We ate some goooood food and visited with family. Ryan ran all over the "stage" with some other kids and it was so fun to watch.

After the luncheon Jake and I drove to the Odgen Costco to pick up the flowers for the centerpieces I was putting together. It was also the perfect time for the babes to take a nap! Then we had about an hour to put together the whole reception with the help of some family and friends from both sides. It was absolutely perfect and beautiful, uuuuntil we got hit by a freak rain storm. At first it was just a few drops, then the thunder came, then boom...sheets of rain. Everyone was grabbing armfuls of decorations and running inside. Check out how soaking wet Jake and Ry were.

It was a quick and simplified setup inside (still beautiful), but look at this scene outside!

Everything turned out sooo nice. The cheesecake was delicious. The dancing was fun. The music was good. Most importantly, Hannah and Travis were super happy. The bride handled the rain fiasco like a champ. Complete with a fun sparkler send off!

We didn't leave until about 10pm and we were all breaking down (myself included). The boys were exhausted and crying, but after a quick stop on the side of the road for a break, they finally fell asleep. These are pretty accurate of the next day...we were all WIPED.

We're so happy to have Travis in the family. He's the perfect match for Hannah! Here's to no more wedding planning for a looooong time. :)

The Gardens and wild Ryan

On Monday my mom met us at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens. It's one of our favorite spots to hang out and play, the landscape is absolutely beautiful! Ryan of course wanted my mom to hold him half the time, but we coaxed him into walking a bunch too. I tried to get him to roll down a hill but he wasn't a huge fan of that haha.

After our walk we met Jake at McDonalds on his lunch break and Ryan had his first happy meal. He ate the whole burger, we were so surprised! It was nap time and he was totally breaking down, so we didn't last long.

Loving his daily walk with dad!

We finally got our no soliciting sign up that my friend from high school made, and it actually works!! We watched a salesman walk up, see the sign, and walk right back down the driveway. Hallelujah!

I just need to document how wild Ryan is these days. He is such a goofy kid, always making us laugh while also making us crazy haha. I have no idea how we haven't been to the ER yet. He's bound to break bones. And that's a piece of mulch stuck in his foot because he always darts into the garden. He has no fear, and we love him for it, but I feel like I can't keep my eyes off of him! Despite this being a really hard age full of tantrums and accidents, it really is so fun. His personality is really shining through.

On the other hand, Hunter is the sweetest most calm thing. He's really only ever fussy in the evenings when he wants to cluster feed, and sometimes in the car. My heart just bursts for this baby! I really feel like our super awesome birth has contributed to me feeling so bonded to him. I could just eat him up all day. Seeing him and Ryan together gives me so much joy!

We're on our way to Logan for Hannah's wedding. If you're reading this, say a little prayer that we all make it out alive. This has the potential to be a really awesome day, or a total disaster. We're basically a traveling zoo! Good thing the animals are cute. :)

The wedding, the farm, and barf in my eyeball

Less than oooone week until Hannah's big day! I snuck away Friday evening with Hunter to meet her at the mall for a little last minute shopping. Then we prolonged the evening with a strawberry drink at Starbucks because I had a super rough day with Ryan and wanted to make sure he was asleep before I came home. Does that make me a bad mom because I was avoiding my toddler, or a good mom because I needed a minute to refresh?? Haha.

On Saturday we spent the morning at home, and then went to cafe rio and the beloved farm in the evening. We seriously love that place! It was Jake's first time.

And of course, more Moana and driveway hangs.

And my very barfy baby strikes again. Right on my eyeball, as I was leaning in to smell his onesie for, you guessed it, barf. Barf barf barf.

Super hot picture, I know.
Yep.

Sunday we went to a neighbors house for dinner. Ryan was having a rooooough go (picture food all over the floor and many tantrums) but it was still really fun. Thanks Scott and Abi!! Everyone cross your fingers that Ryan's molars come the rest of the way through real quick cause the little dude is seriously struggling, poor guy. We've got a super super full week and need him to be in good spirits!

More summer lovin'

There is nothing cuter than two babies bathing! I can't wait until they can get in the big tub together.

Such a cute little ragamuffin. :)

Our Fourth of July was super low key. We just hung out and enjoyed Jake having the day off. We did, however, put the boys in their matching outfits from Heather and took the most adorable pictures! I can't wait until the boys are a little older and we can easily do more. We would have loved to go on a hike that morning, but it just wasn't realistic to get there and back before nap time. It's just a tricky season of life!

Love them so dang much.
On Thursday we went to the splash pad down the street with Casey and her cute Logan. Ryan has started doing this little fast shuffle step thing when he's excited, and as soon as we got to the water he started stomping around and giggling. It was so fun to watch the boys interact! Ryan has also figured out that mom won't hold him all the time, but that other people will. So he probably spent 70% of the time in Casey's arms haha. He just kept reaching for her. :)

More snuggles with the little one, of course. We love it when big brother naps!

We spent some good time on the back patio in our jammies. Ryan has started to climb eeeeeeverything, and he also found Hunter's nipple. Ha!

It was a good week. I'm looking forward to the weather cooling down (which is funny, cause I swear I was JUST dreaming about summer) so we can spend even more time outside. Having a fenced in yard is saving this mama's sanity. :)
